The church at Petionville cannot be rebuilt on the existing site. Continue to pray for this congregation as they explore options such as renting or buying land.

RECOMMENDATIONS/NOTES

The pastor for Petionville is Pastor Jeannot Chataigne. The church has 157 members. There were no known deaths in the congregation from the earthquake. There were five members of the congregation injured. The congregation has been meeting at the school since the earthquake.

The apartment is used for worship. Pastor Jeannot advised the building is too small for his growing congregation. A good option might be to sell this property at this time and relocate to a new and larger location. The existing building is severely damaged and should be removed. The assessment team did not enter the building due to safety concerns.
