Many teams like to know various projects they can complete or support as they plan their trips. Below is a list of current needs and the estimated funds needed to complete them.
If you have a team coming and would like to complete one of these projects, please send an email to confirm if funds are needed before you arrive to purchase supplies.
The Ortlip Ministry Center is located about an hour from the Port-au-Prince airport and includes the dock for the boat to La Gonave. Many teams stay overnight as they are coming and going from the island, but there are also projects that can be done by teams who want to spend a few days to a week here.
Church benches can be built and distributed.

Painting, electrical, and plumbing projects come in a variety of sizes depending on your length of stay and experience.

There are 10 churches remaining to be built or rebuilt from the earthquake. These areas are too remote to host teams and funds ranging from $25,000-45,000 are needed to complete them with our Haitian construction crew.
There are also existing churches with buildings in a variety of stages with varying needs. Projects can be arranged depending on the skills set and location of the team. Cost - $500-1000 per project.
|Wesleyan Hospital -The hospital covers about 60% of its costs through modest patient fees and grants. $1000 per day is needed to cover the remaining cost. Join the "365 Challenge" and choose a day to sponsor.|
With the construction of the new hospital completed, repairs are needed to utilize the old administration building. The plan is to use it for the new nursing school.

Install a roof on a building for a sewing center at the Anse-a-Galet Wesleyan Church
There are ongoing maintenance projects on the mission properties teams can assist with including painting, repairing and building depending on the skills of the team.
Costs range from $100-$1000 per project per day.
For just $50, the CHE team can provide:
- Materials and training to build an outhouse
- A Creole Health Book covering Haiti’s specific health issues
- Teaching in health, hygiene, and spiritual needs.
